Dr. E.Jeffrey Donner, Dr. Kenneth Pettine, Dr. Eric Young and staff would like to thank
all of you that helped us evaluate our patient care by completing the Patient
Office Performance Survey (POPS). The survey was conducted in late 1997 and
we want to share our results with you. Your comments were wonderful and all of your
suggestions and perceptions were taken very seriously by our staff.
Results for the Physicians and Staff:
- We had 405 patient surveys returned.
- 18% of the patients were here for the first time. The average patient age was 47
years.
- 42% of the patients were referred from another physician, 36% from a friend or patient,
27% from worker's compensation and 17% auto accident.
- When you called, 87% of you felt the phones were answered promptly.
- The office staff rated a 96% for overall satisfaction.
- The average wait to see the doctor was 22 minutes.
- Your overall satisfaction with the doctor was 93% with regards to the time he spent with
you, his interest level in your problem and his explanation of the problem and treatment.
- Overall satisfaction with the medical treatment you received at our offices was 94%.
- Items that you suggested we work on include:
- decrease waiting time
- review our voice mail system for making appointments
- better candy, fresh coffee and magazines
