Motion
Matters
With
a shoulder ailment, the simplest movement can bring
crushing pain. Lack of mobility and strength can make
everyday tasks difficult. And shoulder pain often
increases at night, adding sleeplessness to the mix.
Our surgeons look for the root problem by evaluating
the anatomic structures of the shoulder joint including
the rotator cuff, collarbone, subacromial bursa, the
biceps tendon and more. Our team has helped pain sufferers
throughout the region increase their range of motion.
Minimally
Invasive Treatment
Treatment
can include rest and anti-inflammatory medication.
Physical therapy is often prescribed to help control
inflammation as well as to improve motion and strength.
If these methods don’t work, an injection of
an anti-inflammatory steroid, such as Cortisone or
a related medication, can provide dramatic relief.
Surgery is considered when symptoms persist or worsen.
