For those with chronic pain
the thoughts remain the same day after day..,

“What’s wrong with me? Am I going to have to live the rest of my life like this?” Only those with chronic pain truly understand the emotions behind those thoughts: depression, frustration, anger, low self-esteem and irritability. At Orthopedic Pain Center it is our goal to help restore quality of life.

Chronic pain – continuous pain lasting longer than six months – afflicts millions of Americans each year. The rate of occurrence in Northern Colorado is perhaps even higher on a per capita basis due to our active lifestyles and potentially adverse driving conditions.

If you have chronic pain and cannot seem to make positive steps to reducing pain you need to visit Dr. Clemens at Orthopedic Pain Center. The focus of Orthopedic Pain Center is to help patients manage their pain in order to improve and increase function in daily life. Dr. Clemens provides those with chronic orthopedic and neurologic pain a viable alternative to living with pain. Dr. Clemens’ personalized approach to treating chronic pain uses appropriate medications that include antidepressants, hypnotics, long-acting narcotics and newer classes of medications to modulate the neurotransmitters in the central nervous system. Consultations may be scheduled with psychologists specializing in chronic pain management, physical therapists and massage therapists.

Patients need to be thoroughly evaluated by their primary physician or specialist with appropriate diagnostic workup to determine the cause(s) of chronic pain conditions. Patients are subsequently referred to Orthopedic Pain Center should the physician choose.

If you are in need of chronic pain management care, please consult with your current physician or specialist about a visit to Orthopedic Pain Center. You and your physician may schedule a visit with the Center by calling 970.221.1919.
